Our origins...

The IMC originated from a group of social clubs that joined forces in order to improve their purchasing power. Established in 2009, the purpose of the consortium is to generate savings for businesses in vital areas such as insurance, energy and IT.

We are a not-for-profit ltd company with the sole purpose of benefitting our members, and in turn the communities they serve. Private sector companies are often prepared to reduce their margins to support a not-for-profit organisation.

Our members are extremely diverse; from small charitable groups to large housing associations and national public organisations, no business is too big or too small.
